These two college sweethearts really put the "sweet" into their wedding. I had such a wonderful time working with both Hannah and her mother - I could just tell how much fun they were having by planning the wedding together. This cadet of A&M's Corps gave her butterflies any time he talked to her - "I couldn’t believe he would even look at me, much less talk to me! Nothing really became of my crush until that summer after my freshman year." A game of "21 Questions" got these two "friends" a lot closer. "He asked my to go to his senior Corps formal, Boot Dance, which was when I started to realize that this talking and getting to know each other was definitely going somewhere (even if it was just to a formal!) Well, it did become of something.. one night, he told me he still had his 21st question left from the game over the summer. He asked me if I would be his girlfriend, and I of course said 'yes'." How adorable!
From the bride: "My absolute favorite part about planning was that most everything just seemed to fall into place just perfectly. Every time something worked out, it served as a simple reminder from God that this was His purpose for us. I also enjoyed being able to plan such a huge event with my mom. Even though we were not living in the same city, we communicated about everything and were able to plan an even better wedding than I ever could have imagined."
From the bride: "Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be married at the same church that my parents were married almost 30 years ago. Matt knew how special the church was to me, and he even chose that location to propose to me back in October. My dream became a reality when I found out that the date we had chosen was available on Second Baptist's calendar. Royal Oaks Country Club was chosen for our reception venue because we were hoping for a more formal, elegant venue that also had some meaning. My grandparents have been members there for more than 10 years, and we knew it was perfect for our wedding."
We loved working with them! Congrats Hannah + Matt! We wish you both all the happiness in the world!
