let's build your invitation suite

The invitation suite is the first glimpse your guests get to see for your celebration.

Naseem and David

Your invitation suite should include an invitation, a response card, a response envelope and an outer envelope.

Invitation: this sets the tone for you event and includes all the details your guests need

Response Card: allows guests to RSVP or regretfully decline by a specific date. you may also give your guests menu options on this card

Response Envelope: this allows guests to return their response to the address you have featured. be sure to include a stamp!

Outer Envelope: what your suite is mailed in. guests names and addresses as well as a return address should be featured on this envelope. don’t forget to add an envelope liner!

Now for the extras in your suite:

Details Card: any extra information (hotel accommodations, wedding website, registry, etc.)

Map: this helps your guests navigate (useful if your venue with a bit tricky to find)

Rehearsal Dinner Invitation: only include these to guests you'd like to formally invite to your rehearsal dinner

Inner Envelope: this is perfect if you’re looking to add that extra touch of formal and traditional

Tag/Ribbon/Band: these help keep your suite together inside the envelope

Envelope Extras: how about a wax seal?! or maybe a custom postage stamp!

Don't forget these items for your celebration:

save the dates

menus

programs

escort cards / escort board

napkins

cups/koozies

table numbers

tags for favors

snapchat geofilters

thank you notes

Briscoe Manor Love

The Briscoe Manor Tasting is always an event I LOVE being a part of and this one topped them all! They asked if we could help by creating an invitation suite for each of the four section designs and we jumped at the idea! Briscoe’s own Ashley Manchaca and Jamie Eggleton came up with the four different design ideas and with a little inspiration from both we were creating & designing.

IKAT THE ONE

Cute name right!?! This suite was so much fun! The yellow and navy color combo helped to pull off a more rustic vibe. Invitation, response card, wedding day program, hashtag sign, hand lettering, and envelope – OH MY!

The flowers in this section were from Fresh Blooms of Houston; you can see some of their yellow tulips hiding in the background, and House of Hough provided these beautiful ikat linens.

 I LOVE YOU DEER

Rustic meet Golden Sparkle! And boy did they hit it off! Our suite mixed soft florals with hunter green and antlers. The coordinating save the date, menu, place cards, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” wine bottle were adored, but these teeny tiny antlers with a touch of sweet florals by Dream Bouquet were the talk of this section! Our one and only Ashby added coordinating modern calligraphy to the envelope, some vintage stamps and cute doodles, which are starting to be the tiniest of detail but biggest of trends.

RUSTIC RED & PUNCHY PINK

Glamorous! Just Glamorous! This section was gorgeous, modern and oh so elegant! Our suite created with modern geometric & metallic accents included a save the date, invitation, envelope liner, program, menu, modern take on a place cards, and a snapchat geofilter (yep, we can even help you with your wedding geofilter!).

Then House of Hough brought it with an amazing selection of patterned linens and table runners that were to die for.

These flowers! I could not get over how beautiful they were! Fresh Blooms of Houston killed it with – a tier of flowers over the table with hanging crystal drops.

We are LOVING this placement for your dinner menu!

WISPY PASTELS

You should have seen the craze over this section and invitation suite full of pastel florals and rose accents! We created an invitation with rose gold foil printing and floral details along with coordinating response card, menu, and envelope with modern calligraphy and vintage stamp.

Such soft touches were brought into this table with the pinks and blues from Dream Bouquet beautiful florals and decor. House of Hough brought the table linens including this amazing lace overlay. I might have tried taking this table runner home with its petals, while Kristen is trying to take away the chairs!

A special shout out to Ashby and her brother for making us these adorable section signs!

the one I can count on!

So, I thought I would take time to tell you just how wonderful and important Sarah is to me! Almost 4 years ago I hired Sarah to help out part time at Invitation Solutions. Well, lets just say that was one of the best decision I have made since I started Invitation Solutions 12 years ago.

Since then she has become the strength behind Invitation Solutions. She is our lead designer and if you haven't had the pleasure of working with her I hope you get to soon! She brings her amazing design sense, ability to put together the most beautiful color palettes and the artistic ability to create stunning watercolors effortlessly.

I could go on, but instead I'll post some of her recent work which speaks for itself, and encourage you to call to set up a time to meet with her for your upcoming wedding or special event!

Gorgeous gold foil! Love that liner!

Beautifully designed Montego Bay destination wedding invitation suite!

Lushious laser cut invitation jacket!

Nothing better then white foil!

Sarah, thanks so much for all you do for Invitation Solutions and for being an amazing friend!

XO,

it's a great day!

So, Sarah had this idea to add a big positive & cute quote to this wall in the office that was in desperate need of some good vibes. After a lengthy list of hit and miss options things started falling into place a few weeks ago when Keala found a quote we all thought would be just right for the Invitation Solutions studio! Next thing I knew Katy drew an awesome sketch, we were lucky enough to borrow a projector from Samantha at Soireebliss! and today our wall is on it's way to looking fabulous! Thanks team!

On this RAINY day, I thought I would would would post how awesome our wall turned out and let Katy know — I LOVE IT!

XO,

the sweetest couple

I'm so excited to work with Emily & David on their wedding stationery suite — especially after seeing their super cute engagement photos! (I knew they would be cute but goodness! love them!) They are using Thomas & Penelope who picked out a farm for the photoshoot and let me tell you the pictures turned out great!

So, I started working on their save the dates today (so fun — love my job!) and thought I'd share a few design ideas.

What do you think? Pretty cute, right!?! Well it helps when you have a cute couple and I love it when our clients give us the creative freedom to — well be creative.

xo,
—kristen

fall is here!!!

Hooray fall is here!!  While we were eagerly awaiting the crisp air, changing of the leaves and wearing our boots; we were feeling inspired. Sarah put together a new Farm to Table inspired invitation suite, Kristen hit the Farmer's Market to shoot some photos and I got to work pinning all things fall on our latest Pinterest board.  Take a look at what had us anticipating the cooler weather and sunny skies!  We surely hope that it is here to stay.

So, if you are looking for a way to incorporate a quirky pattern or a certain color or you just LOVE stripes, dots, etc.  A liner is the perfect way.  Wouldn't you just love it if your guests opened your invitation and said "Oh, that is just so __ & ___, this just fits their style and personality perfectly!".

Check out our Pinterest Board for some envelope liner inspiration and schedule your consultation today to see how we help make your invitation suite not only beautiful, but also "Oh so YOU!"!
